About Ian

As well as being a qualified registered hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, Ian is a Reiki Master and has enjoyed a career at senior level in higher education administration.

Ian has a strong interest in Tibetan Buddhism, and enjoys travelling, particularly in Buddhist regions of the world. A highlight of his travelling to date has been extensive journeying in Tibet, including following the famous Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage route around Mount Kailash.

Within his Buddhist studies, Ian has also benefited from Medicine Buddha Empowerments. Ian brings the insights and energies of these experiences to his hypnotherapy practice.

Ian also follows enthusiastically the growth in connections being made between the discoveries of scientific research into the workings of the mind, and the wisdom and practices of ancient culture.
